We offer a simple, secure way to look after your money. You can save or borrow with us as well as get assistance with how to manage your finances.
How does it work?
Like all credit unions, we’re a co-operative. That means the people who save or borrow with us, our members, are in charge. Because we are run by our members for our members, means we always have their interests at heart. It also means that any profi ts we make get passed back to our members. As well as that, all Credit Unions are required to help educate their members in good money management. That means you can always trust us to help put you in charge of your money.
Can I join?
As long as you live or work within our Trafford ‘Common Bond’ area, then you are welcome to join. All it costs is £4. Our boundary includes the whole of the Trafford Council area as well as Whalley Range and the St George's area of Hulme (see map).
How do I save?
Once you’ve joined, you can start saving. The minimum we ask for is 50p a week, but you can pay in as much as you like, whenever you like. If you want to pay in person, you can come to one of our local collection centres, located throughout our ‘Common Bond’. Otherwise we can always accept payment by a standing order direct from your bank account. Your savings will be automatically covered by free life insurance, meaning that if something happens to you, your family could receive up to twice the amount you had saved. |
